"Situated in the rolling, verdant pastures of Drouin, Acreage Vineyard's atmosphere is enhanced by the chiming of bellbirds in the strands of trees that border it, and the grazing herds and horses that dot the landscape.
The air is clear and the tranquil feeling is casual and friendly. Chardonnay is made in both oak-influenced and unwooded versions here, and Pinot Noir comes as a soft red and a light fresh Rose"

Acreage commenced its first plantings in 1997 and in 2003 further plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot were added to expand the wine selection. Whilst the wine is made under contract, owners Jan and Terry Blundell continue their hands on approach to ensure that each season reflects the integrity of the wine.
